How do I make a reservation?

On the home page, choose the desired pickup location. This can be done through the list of location blocks but you can also choose a map view to see which location is nearby.
Choose Bike Rentals to make an immediate reservation or click on more information to read more about the particular location. If you are on the location page then select Book there.
If you want the option to cancel then choose the Carefree travel package with your reservation

Where can I find prices and availability?

During the reservation process at the chosen location, you choose the rental period and the system immediately displays available bikes and prices.
Prices may vary by pickup location

Does a reservation have to be paid for immediately?

Yes, you will be given the option in the booking process to pay for the reservation via online banking. Once payment is made you will receive a final confirmation at the e-mail address you provided

Can I cancel or change a reservation?

Once you have made and paid for a reservation, the reservation is final. During the reservation process you can choose to take the Carefree Travel Package This package allows you to cancel up to 48 hours before your rental begins. If you have reserved without the Carefree on the Road package, then rebooking your reservation is possible on request up to 48 hours before the start of your rental period based on availability.

Is there a discount if I rent a bicycle for a longer period of time?

Yes, The longer you rent the bike the cheaper the daily rate.
You will see the correct price for the selected rental period during the reservation process.

Is a group discount possible?

Yes, A reservation for larger quantities can be requested through our request form

Do I rent a bicycle at my own risk?

During the reservation process, you will be given the option to reserve the Carefree On the Road Package . You can take out this package to reduce deductibles in case of damage or theft and offers a cancellation option. For all information about this package click here

Is it possible to have bicycles delivered?

Yes this is possible. You can submit your request via our delivery request
You will then receive an appropriate quotation from us with the possibilities.
It is not possible to make online reservations for delivery.

Is roadside assistance included during my rental period?

Yes, your reservation always includes roadside assistance

What should I do if I have a breakdown with my rental bike?

We do our very best to keep our bikes in top quality but of course a breakdown can happen. A breakdown should be reported immediately upon discovery.
You can easily do this by contacting the pickup location where you rented the bike. This contact information can be found on the appropriate location page on the website.

Do you also have cycling routes available?

Yes! We offer from each pickup location the 3 most beautiful bicycle routes in the vicinity of this location. These can be found on the location page via more information

Can I still return my bicycle after closing time?

This varies by pickup location. This information can be found on the location page
via more information. The opening hours of the location are the pickup times. Drop-off times may vary by location.

Do I receive a full battery when renting an E-bike?

Yes, you always leave with a full battery from the pickup location. If you rent an e-bike for more than 1 day, you will automatically receive the charger. If you want to take an extra long trip in 1 day, you can ask for a charger at the pickup location. These are based on availability.

Does every pick-up location have the same bicycles available?

No, The assortment varies by takeout location. On the location page you will find the offerings for each location. Do you have a special request or is your desired bike not listed? If so, please contact the location using the contact information on the appropriate location page. Each location can provide you with appropriate advice.

Is there a manual for my E-bike?
